Bentley and I are doing great. He is the spitting image of his father (Storm and BoBo pup 10-22-04). Bentley will pick up his last leg of his Junior Hunt Test this spring and maybe go straight to Senior Hunt Test. His marking is incredible and his work ethic is amazing yet tiresome.

We bought a red lab from you and named him Charlie (Nick and Sandi pup (09/22/05). He has been a great dog. We are amazed at how calm he is. He gets along with my mom's daycare kids. He is also great with the other dogs. I think he is going to be a great hunting dog, he already retrieves. He also has an excellent nose when smelling our things. We just want to say how thankful we are for this amazing dog.

Hello and how are you , 
            The boys get along very well and spend a good deal of their time playing and
running each other down. I was concerned that Reilly , the pup that I got
from you would be at a disadvantage because of their difference in size ,
but he has proven that attitude can prevail . Reilly is an affectionate pup
with a huge heart and desire to have fun whatever we are doing. They have
traveled all over the U.S. and Canada and charm people wherever we go. While
we were in Wyoming in July , Reilly jumped and caught a killdeer that was a
little slow to take flight and made his first kill. I was very surprised ,
but Reilly has proven to have a intense desire to hunt and track anything
with a scent. I am working on their basic training every day and they are
coming along very well. I hope to get them into the field next month for
some workouts with a friend that has some trained dogs so they can get a
feel for pheasant hunting .

I've been working with Tate (BoBo and Spud litter whelped 4/23/06) everyday and he is doing very well but he floored me last night. I've been working him on live pigeons, his commands both voice and whistle, and swimming in a small hallow creek(doing very well with his training I might add). I took him to the neighborhood pond, allowed Tate to enter at his own leisure as the pond is deep and does not trasition well. He would go in and swim a few feet and turn around and get out. My daughter and I were sitting next to the pond and a hen mallard landed in the middle of the pond and was quaking, this grabbed my dog's eye. He came up to me and sat in between my legs and would not take his eyes off the duck so I took his lead off and held his chest and asked him if he wanted to get her. He got more intense and his heart was pounding so I called his name and released him. He went right into the water and swam 30-40 yds to the duck, she actually let him get within a foot or two of her ( probably had babies in the area and was attempting to distract him from them) and she flew off fast and low. He continued swimming after her until I gave him a recall whistle. He turned on a dime and swam in a straight line back to me. He must have swum 60-80 yds. total. He has never swum in big water before and I did not know that he was as capable as he was. It was awesome. He's a great dog and I would highly recommend Diamond J.  to anyone. Love the dog!!! He is birdie, athletic, and full of vinegar. Additionally, he is eager to please and learn.

Belle and Gus female pups.  This is Zoe one of the Belle and Gus females. 

She is now with Tim and Sue Sheldon, she is one happy girl she has a lot of children to play with, Sue is a day care mom.

Penny and Steven Marquis got a pup out of our Sandi and Tan litter, they named him Baron.

Baron has become such a wonderful member of the family that he even watches the baby.

 This is Avery she is a Sue and Storm pup whelped 8/23/05. She belongs to Rocco and Marcy, from Huron, SD.

This what they have to say about Avery.

Just wanted to give you a picture of our second weekend pheasant hunting with Avery.  She performed amazingly, retrieving several birds, and running down a couple of cripples.  She has limitless energy but is disciplined enough not to break.  She has also retrieved many ducks this fall.  Feel free to put her picture on your web site.  Marcy and I could not be happier with her.

 I just wanted to send you some pictures of Avery's 2nd South Dakota pheasant opener.  She had a blast.  And did wonderful.  She kicked up and retrieved so many birds.  We've had her out duck hunting quite a few times already this year too.  Now that she's two she has a little more patience when sitting and waiting for the ducks to fly over.  Rocco and I couldn't be happier with her and we are so glad that she's a part of our family.

A special little boy has been taken home to God's house. His mom and his buddy Rex are grieving the loss of a beloved son and friend. We too grieve the loss of this special boy. Trent was an unbelievable boy who touched our life the first time we met him. We miss him.

Leah has proven to be quite the little hunter already!  This is 9 year old Spencer and Leah.                                                                   

Spencer had a chance to hunt for the first time on youth waterfowl day, what a special day it was for both Spencer and Leah! Spencer's first ducks, were a one shoot and 2 wood ducks, plus it was Leah's first real hunt and she had a double retrieve!!!

 Dan and Cally take home their new Charlie and Tan pup. She will be called Gabby. What away to spend the holidays with a new family. You can tell this pup has made her new family's season bright.

 Zipper and his best friend Gus, came to visit this summer all the way from Colorado. Zipper is a Gus and Dixie pup.

 Alex and Remi stopped in after hunting in western Minnesota. They had a great weekend of duck hunting and Remi proved to be an excellent retriever. Remi is a Belle and Nick pup.

 Bruski, is one busy hunting dog. His master Kevin is very pleased with his Sue and Strom dog.

Sasha, and her family have spent the summer at the cabin. Sasha had lots of fun jumping off the  dock.

 Winter fun for this pup. It loves to retrieve no matter what the weather!

 This is Shade, he is a Archie and Tara pup. His owner Dean says that at 11 months of age, Shade is a bird machine.

Parker goes to School!

 This is Parker, he is a pup from BoBo and Tan. Parker took to his training well and had a very successful first season out hunting. His owner Rex is very pleased with his new dog. He says he is a joy to have in the house and an exceptional hunting partner.
